Courier Express expanding its national reach

COURIER Express Refrigerated Transport, a provider of specialised temperature-controlled transport, has continued its expansion across the UK after announcing a record set of results for 2015/16, increasing sales by 25% to £2m and employee numbers across the company.

A total of eight new staff were added in 2015/16, taking the total number of employees to 45 as of June 2016.

The business has also added five new vehicles to its fleet in 2016, which will now be utilised in the Midlands and South East.

It is another consecutive year of growth for Courier Express, with record sales accompanied by an expansion in operational capabilities. Courier Express now has regional sites in Manchester, London, Kettering, Bedford and Leeds.

During 2015/6 activity increased in core markets of food and drink and pharmaceutical distribution, where the company has significant experience and expertise working on jobs across the UK, with substantial progress made in Kettering, Bedford and central London.

The refrigerated courier has also stepped up service levels in the food samples sector and completed numerous jobs for several leading food manufacturers, retail outlets and universities.
