Traffic alert: 90-minutes delays on M60

Traffic has now returned to normal on most of the M60, although it remains slower between junctions 16 and 18.

5.30pm
The M60 in Greater Manchester currently (5.30pm) has severe delays of 90 minutes from J10 to J18 due to an earlier multi-vehicle collision on the M62 eastbound J18-J19.

Although the collision has been cleared and all lanes are now open, Highways England has said it will take some time for the residual delays to clear.

The traffic organisation is suggesting to motorists to consider delaying their journey until delays have reduced.
