A COMPANY specialising in nursery school provision is expanding backed by a £930K loan from Barclays.
Hill Top Early Learning Provision has acquired Heaton Dene Nursery in Westhoughton, near Bolton, increasing its overall portfolio to three.
In addition to Heaton Dene, the group also operates Hill Top Nursery in Stalybridge and Hoole Bank Day Nursery in Chester, offering 220 childcare places in total.
As well as the new acquisition, the group has also extended Hill Top Nursery allowing it to create more jobs and offer more childcare places.
Wajdi Elturkie, managing director of Hill Top Early Learning Provision said: “There’s a need for parents to find nurseries that not only offer a great environment for their children but are also flexible enough to meet their own needs.
“We are very excited to expand our Group into the Westhoughton area – securing jobs for the local economy and vital childcare places to support families in the area.
“Our aim is to continue expanding the business over the next few years with the continued support of Barclays, who are in integral part of our future growth plans.”
The deal was arranged by Barclays relationship director, Ian Jones.
He said: “It is essential we support businesses like Hill Top which are vital for a prosperous local economy.
“Childcare remains a growth industry and with this latest acquisition, Wajdi and his wife Eve, who is the educational director are proving they have the appetite and confidence to invest and are well positioned for further growth with increased demand for quality childcare places.”
