Chill Factore seeks 100 new staff for Christmas

CHILL Factore indoor skiing and snowboarding centre will recruit 100 seasonal workers for over Christmas in openings for Santa’s helpers, snow crew and other services.

The opening of the Santa’s Grotto on November 15 will provide openings for new staff who are needed to ensure the smooth running of the centre during one of its busiest times of the year.

Home to the UK’s largest real snow ski slope, which stands at 180 metres, the grotto is also the only one in the country to stand on real snow.

Morwenna Angove, chief executive of the Chill Factore, said: “We’re pleased to be able to offer seasonal employment to 100 passionate people as we prepare to welcome thousands of visitors to enjoy our Christmas events and activities.

“We have a range of positions available, enabling interested applicants to gain work experience and develop career skills over the Christmas period – we see many seasonal employees returning year on year.

“We look forward to welcoming families to meet Santa and enjoy play time in the Snow Park, our very own winter wonderland.”

Visit England accredited, the attraction has had more than 10m visitors since it opened in 2007.
