Listed K3 appoints new CFO

SALFORD-based K3, the listed business which provides software and managed services to the retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors, has appointed Robert Price as its chief financial officer from today (Tuesday October 18).

Price replaces Brian Davis, who will is leaving the company.

The appointment is one of a number of senior management team changes being made to drive forward the company’s growth strategy, including the introduction of Adalsteinn Valdimarsson as its chief executive in September.

Price, aged 49, has almost 20 years’ experience in senior financial roles, primarily in the retail, distribution and manufacturing sectors, including internationally and in private equity.

He joins K3 from Orwell Group Holdings, a FinTech start-up, which he joined from start-up as CFO.

Prior to that, for five years, he was COO/CFO at Enotria Wine Group, the private equity-backed wine distributor, where he helped to steer a successful buy and build strategy.
 
Between 2002 and 2008, he was at Carlsberg Breweries, latterly as CFO and change management director of Carlsberg Italy, where he helped to drive business development.

The appointment is not to the main board of K3.
