Pints are pulled again at popular pub

A POPULAR Manchester pub has re-opened following a significant £360,000 investment by national pub operator Punch Taverns.

The Victoria Inn on Burnage Lane has benefited from a full internal refurbishment, new signage and an upgrade of the beer garden as part of the scheme, which has also created 10 new jobs in the area.

The new-look Victoria was officially re-opened by local MP Jeff Smith, who said: “A good pub can be a real focal point for the local community, so it’s fantastic to see this one getting a new lease of life. I’m sure the Victoria will be a great success.”

Customer service and value for money will be top of the list of priorities at the Victoria, say Punch. There is a strong focus on entertainment, from the provision of TV screens, showing all the major sporting action, to top of the range pool tables and darts areas.
