Paper manufacturer unveils new managing director

LISTED Cumbria paper maker James Cropper has unveiled Steve Adams as its new managing director and board member from January 1.

Chief executive Phil Wild said: “We are delighted that Steve has started his role with us as Managing Director of the paper business and we look forward to embracing him within the organisation as we strengthen relationships with our customers and continue to grow our paper business.”

Last month, the company reported a rise in first-half profits to £2.4m – up 46% – with turnover also up to £45.4m from £42.1m.
