McConkey elected for extended term at regional helm of law firm

IAN McConkey has been re-elected as regional senior partner at the Manchester office of international law firm DAC Beachcroft for a second term.

McConkey was first appointed to the role in Manchester in 2013 and will continue for a further term of three years until 2019.
 
McConkey said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed fulfilling the role of Manchester regional senior partner and I am delighted to have been reappointed.  

“Over the last three years, we have seen significant growth in our Manchester office, servicing local, national and international clients.  

“I am looking forward to continuing to lead the further growth of the office and to cement our position as one of the major commercial practices here in what is an exciting time for the city.”

DAC Beachcroft senior partner, Virginia Clegg, said: “Under Ian’s leadership, our Manchester office has grown substantially, both in terms of team size and reputation and we look forward to more of the same during the course of his second term in post.”
