First look at transformation of Lennons’ wedding venue

IMAGES have been released showing the future transformation of the former Reece’s Ballroom in Liverpool where John and Cynthia Lennon’s wedding reception took place in 1962.

Caro Developments has released the computer generated pictures for the building, now known as the Parker Street Residences, which is being turned into a complex of city centre apartments.

Nobles Construction is currently working to strengthen the steel framework of the building to make way for an additional two floors.

The latest CGIs reveal how the apartments will look following the completion of the studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Initially only released to investors, Caro is now giving the public a look at the images revealing the future vision for the iconic building.

All of the units are now sold at the property with investors snapping up studio apartments from £69,950 and one-bedroom units from £105,000.

Located within Clayton Square, the apartments benefit from a central L1 postcode with all of the city centre’s amenities on the doorstep.

This location will make the apartments ideal for young professionals working in the city centre.

Lee Darwen, operations director at Caro Developments, said: “These CGIs really put into perspective the vision that we have for the building.

“Falconer Chester Hall has designed a clean, open plan concept for the apartments and we believe the strength of the images highly contributed to the sales of the units.

“Looking at photographs of the ballroom before work began shows the true change that is taking place in to create the Parker Street Residences.”
