Legoland gets £1m makeover

Merlin Entertainments’ Legoland Discovery Centre at Manchester’s intu Trafford Centre is set for a £1m renovation.

Launching in Spring, the new-look centre will boast a new LEGO Ninjago-themed play feature, a new floor-to-ceiling window café, a new bigger and better creative workshop and a newly-located LEGO Racers Build & Test Zone with new birthday party rooms offering new experiences.

With more than 4,802sq ft of the attraction being redeveloped into a more appealing and better offering for families and children, the major draw will open to visitors in April.

Jenn McDonough, general manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre said: “This all new-build is the biggest investment, since launch and we can’t wait for families and children to enjoy it for themselves.”
