Fast-growing law firm lands on Mayfair

Hale, Greater Manchester-based law firm Blackstone Solicitors has announced the opening of a London office to service its continued expansion in the capital and among international clients.

Located in Mayfair it specialises in commercial litigation, property law for commercial and residential clients, corporate legal services, and family law and wills and probate.

Established in 2010 and led by lawyer and managing director Emma Nawaz, the firm has grown quickly and in 2016 announced a turnover of just above £1m – an increase of 34% on the previous year.  For 2017 the firm forecast a further 50% growth.

Blackstone now has a total headcount of 24, including six partners. Nawaz meets clients in London two days a week as do two others in her northern team.

Blackstone Solicitors achieved national and international fame in 2014/15 when it took on and won cases against high street banks over accusations of racial discrimination concerning British citizens with Iranian backgrounds or Iranians living in the UK.
