Toolstation growth set to create 300 jobs

Toolstation, the specialist in everyday supplies for tradesmen, says its ongoing expansion drive will create 300 jobs across the North West.

The company has 43 branches across the region with outlets in Altrincham, Greater Manchester and Blackburn among its most recent sites to open. It has 250 branches across the UK.

Toolstation says more than 30 new branches are to open across the country in 2017.

Marketing director John Meaden said: “Our growth plans for 2017 enable us to be even nearer to our customers and the opening of our new North West branches reflects both our continued ambition for the business and our dedication to the trade.  

“We are looking forward to opening more branches in the area in 2017 to further enhance our presence here. It is exciting to be bringing our range of products and great customer service to the North West region.”

Toolstation branches offer a large range of products that includes all the essentials such as plumbing, electrical, tools, screws, sealants and adhesives as well as leading branded products such as Makita, Stanley, Milwaukee and Dulux Trade Paints.
