Burger brand moving into flagship shopping complex

Five Guys, the authentic American burger brand, is to open at the Liverpool ONE shopping complex.

Facility owner Grosvenor Europe has agreed a deal for Five Guys to take a prominent 4,822sq ft sit on The Terrace with the new 175-cover restaurant opening in the summer.

Five Guys will join a range of family dining restaurants on The Terrace, including Wagamama, Pizza Express, and GBK, as well as Liverpool ONE’s 18-screen Odeon cinema.

Miles Dunnett from Grosvenor Europe, said: “The signing of Five Guys on The Terrace is another great outcome of our strategy of actively managing Liverpool ONE’s offer to ensure we provide the very best mix for visitors, be they living in Liverpool, the wider North West region, or the growing number of UK and international tourists.”

Neville Mailing, Head of Property at Five Guys, added: “Securing a location on The Terrace at Liverpool ONE fulfills a long-held ambition for Five Guys.  We are in a prime location in one of the UK’s prime cities.”

The news follows other  additions at Liverpool ONE, including signings and upsizes totalling 45,000sq ft.  Already this year, Grosvenor Europe has announced Guess, Superdry and JD Sports are to create new regional flagships in Liverpool ONE.

Metis Real Estate Advisors and Cushman & Wakefield acted for Liverpool ONE in the deal.  Five Guys were represented by Central Retail.
