Fusion21 puts more than 100 contractors on £290m framework

Merseyside-based Fusion21 has announced the contractors successfully appointed to its national compliance and facilities management framework, worth up to £290m over a four-year period.

A total of 105 firms from across the UK – including several SMEs – have secured a place on the framework which offers 17 lots and covers a range of specialisms from asbestos, electrical safety and facilities management to water hygiene and fire safety.

The framework will be delivered by a multi-skilled supply chain, providing a wealth of expertise across areas of compliance and facilities management.

Phil Woodhead, facilities management framework manager at Fusion21, said: “Following demand from our members we have developed this framework to offer increased support around property compliance needs, whilst ensuring Fusion21 members continue to benefit from significant efficiency savings.

“In addition to accessing lots for passive fire safety, retrofit maintenance and compliance software for the first time, members will also generate greater efficiencies when purchasing the latest facilities management technologies such as: self-testing emergency lighting, remote temperature monitoring and cloud based door access control systems.”

Fusion21 provides procurement services and OJEU compliant frameworks to the education, blue light and social housing sectors, in addition to working alongside NHS Trusts and local authorities.

The firm – which specialises in the procurement of services for property, construction and the built environment – has delivered £147m savings through the procurement process, created more than 3,700 jobs and generated £63m of community impact.
