Developer defies downturn

NORTH West developer Arley Homes is defying the downturn and forging ahead with a new development in a Lancashire village.

Warrington-based Arley has unveiled plans for 17 three and four-bedroom luxury homes in Harwood, Bolton.

Alison Holton, sales and marketing director for Arley Homes, said: “Harwood is attracting young professionals who have to travel into Manchester and Bolton for work but are keen to have the Lancashire countryside on their doorstep.

“While we are conscious of the property market forecasts, Arley Homes is committed to bringing these properties to the market for 2009.”
