Six shortlisted for EnterPrize award

SIX east Manchester firms have been shortlisted for the area’s annual EnterPrize award.

IT firm Sunde Technologies and SEO company Project Simply of the Sharp Project have been shortlisted alongside FC United, 4D Creative, Pedal Precision and Key for the City.

All six have received a £3,000 prize for making the final shortlisted and the winner will receive a £10,000 prize at an awards event which will take place at Gorton Monastery on December 2.

Eddie Smith, chief executive of regeneration company New East Manchester, said: “The EnterPrize Awards are all about encouraging enterprise within east Manchester whilst recognising and rewarding talented businesses and entrepreneurs.

“These six companies were selected for the final stage because they all showed high growth potential and a clear demonstration of how the prize money could make a significant difference to the company both in terms of growth or job creation.

The awards are now in their fifth year. Last year’s winner was Ancoats-based Wigs Up North pictured), which provides wigs and make-up for theatre and TV production companies.
