Northern Trust completes £1.3m Warwick House refurb

DEVELOPER Northern Trust has completed a £1.3m refurbishment of the six-storey Warwick House office building at Old Trafford, Manchester.

The company has made external improvements to the brick cladding and double-glazed windows of the building, which is at the corner of Warwick Road and Talbot Road.

Inside, a new feature entrance and lobby has been created, while the firm has added a number of smaller suites to make the space more attractive to SMEs. A number of new suites have been created, including a ground floor unit which could be used for a variety of purposes, subject to planning.

John Marrow, regional property manager for Whittle Jones, managing agents acting on behalf of Northern Trust said: “The substantial refurbishment works highlight Northern Trust’s commitment to re-investment in its current portfolio.

“With the high quality finish of the suites, and great location, we are confident that Warwick House will attract local and regional businesses looking to relocate.”

Conrad O’Neill of joint agents Canning O’Neill, said: “Northern Trust has done a fantastic job in refurbishing the building, which has now been transformed to provide arguably the highest quality office accommodation in Old Trafford.

“They have raised the bar in terms of Old Trafford offices yet the quoting rental has been maintained at a competitive level.”

Northern Trust relaunched the refurbished space at an event for agents last month.
