PwC’s Richens swaps Manchester for Liverpool

AUDIT partner Nigel Richens has moved from PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Manchester office to the firm’s Liverpool base.

He has been a partner with PwC for 20 years and will lead the delivery of audit services to clients in Liverpool and surrounding areas, from the start of this month.

Mr Richens has responsibility for a large portfolio of both listed and private companies in the region and already has a number of important local clients including Novartis and Johnson Service Group.

Brian Clark, senior partner at PwC in Liverpool said: “I am delighted to welcome Nigel to our Liverpool office. He will further strengthen our audit team, and with his wealth of knowledge and experience he will be a great asset to us and our clients in the region.

“This appointment is testament to our continued growth in Liverpool and our view that, despite the current economic climate, Liverpool is still a very attractive place to do business. I wish him well in his new role.”

Mr Richens has strong links with the area as he lived and was educated on the Wirral for a number of years.
