Wynsors World of Shoes expands

SHOE retailer Wynsors, based in Bacup, is two open two new stores in March, creating around 30 jobs.

The Chester and Wakefield branches of the discount footwear retailer will bring the total number of stores operated by the company up to 36 – and it says it is actively looking for more sites.

A Wynsors spokesman said: “As the recession continues, Wynsors is in a good position to weather the storm by providing great value for money and an affordable footwear solution for people of all ages and tastes.

“We believe we are the only footwear retailer which is expanding at the moment – and we feel it’s important to reassure people that we’re still here, and we’re working hard to constantly create new jobs and great offers to help boost business in the North West.”
