THE OWNERS of the Stamford Quarter Shopping Centre in Altrincham have secured four new tenants. Derebrook and Brookwest Developments, has let the units to Grainger Games, Randalls Jewellers, H Samuel and HMV.

Grainger Games has taken a new 10-year lease on a 1,675 sq ft store over two floors, Randalls has taken a new five-year lease on a store totalling 1,654 sq ft.

H Samuel and HMV have both launched trial pop-up stores at Stamford Quarter of 1,636 sq ft and 5,392 sq ft respectively.

The units were let by joint agents Savills and McCafferty Asset Management.

Ken Hutchings, managing director of McCafferty, said: “Stamford Quarter continues to attract a host of local and national retailers and the scheme is currently 97% let. The centre is rapidly establishing itself as a strong retail destination, which will be further strengthened by these new brands.”

Mike Knowles, associate director at Savills, adds “We are seeing pop-up stores become more and more visible in the current retail market and we are hopeful that the popularity of the H Samuel and HMV trial stores will lead to a more permanent tenancy agreement.”
