Shackletons expands in Clitheroe

A LANCASHIRE garden centre has completed a major expansion of its Clitheroe site with a new 17,500 sq ft building.  

The new structure at Shackletons Garden and Lifestyle Centre has two separate units – a 6,000 sq ft glass house and a 11,500 sq ft retail area.

It has freed up retail space at the site which will be used for a new interior and soft furnishings department.  

Director David Shackleton said: “We are constantly striving to improve our facilities and enhance the range of garden & interior products. With help from NatWest we feel that we have further improved the Shackletons experience.”

NatWest Business & Commercial Bank in Blackburn provided funding to help cover the costs of the expansion.
