Works start on £9m HQ building

CONSTRUCTION work has begun on an £8.95m office development in Eccles by Centenary Property Developments.
Due for completion in April 2010, the 86,500 sq ft office building on Centenary Waywill be let as the headquarters for technical recruitment company Morson Group.
The office space will house over 500 staff and replace AIM-listed Morson’s exisiting bases in Eccles and Irlam.
It was given the green light after Centenary secured the funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Steve Mawdsley, head of business development at RBS in Manchester, said: “Centenary presented us with an impressive business plan and secured funding on the back of this.
“Their tenant, Morson Group, is a successful national business that has strong roots in the Eccles and their move to a new larger headquarters reflects the quality of their operations.”
