Co-op backs Derbyshire Booth move

THE Co-operative Bank has provided a £150,000 loan to help independent financial advisor Derbyshire Booth Financial Management move to new premises in Leyland.

The finance, provided by the bank’s Lancashire corporate banking centre, will be used by Derbyshire Booth to relocate from offices on Golden Hill Lane, Leyland to Yewlands Drive.

The family-run firm, which was set up in May 2003, employs three staff and provides advice to clients on pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, retirement finances and wills.

Managing director Greg Heath said: “When we needed a commercial mortgage and the high street lenders were unhelpful, Julia Monks of U First introduced us to The Co-operative Bank and we were able to complete the deal within just five days.”
