London Underground win for Enterprise

SUPPORT services group Enterprise has won a contract with London Underground to main power supply systems as part of the Metropolitan line upgrade project.

The Preston-based company has worked on a number of projects on the London Underground since 2004 and its growing expertise in the transport and power sectors has enabled Enterprise to secure the contract.

Enterprise said it will create work for more than 100 skilled staff and make secure jobs in other parts of the UK supply chain.

Owen McLaughlin, chief executive of Enterprise, said: “We are pleased to work in partnership with London Underground on this important long term project. We have combined our expertise in power and transport and our approach to cost efficiency. We look forward to working alongside London Underground.”
