Shefali Talukdar

Shefali became a Partner at Clough and Willis in 1997 and was appointed Managing Partner in 2003. She specialises in residential property law and over the years she has built up a well respected property conveyancing team that operates across the region.

As Managing Partner, Shefali is responsible for leading and implementing the firm’s strategy as well as the overall management of the business, including; marketing, staffing and infrastructure. Her vast experience and management skills have helped guide the firm to where it is today and will help her to build on the team’s core strengths to take the company forward.

Shefali is extremely active within the local legal community. A past president of the Bury and District Law Society, she also became the first female president of the Association of North West Law Societies in 2006. She is Vice Chairman of governors at Bury Grammar Schools and is heavily involved with local organisations, such as the Greater Manchester Chamber.

Shefali graduated from Hull University in 1985 and continued her education at Chester College of Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and started at Clough & Willis as an assistant solicitor in 1991.
