The business shifted onto a different track when it became a principal contractor to Network Rail in 2007 and focused on multi-disciplinary structural refurbishment.<\/p>\n<p>Taziker has ambitions to grow from its pre-pandemic \u00a340m turnover in providing its servies to the UK\u2019s critical transport, utility, industrial and marine infrastructure.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2066857\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2066857\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2066857\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/_files\/images\/sep_20\/Blackpool-Big-One-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2066857\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Taziker has worked on the Big One at Blackpool<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Corcoran, who will take up the role from October 1, said: &#8220;As an organisation, Taziker is held in high regard by its clients and I look forward to working with them and the team, as we look to grow and develop the business to meet its true potential\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Corcoran ran Speedy Hire for nine years, taking it into the FTSE 250 before he resigned in 2013. He has since worked for Keltbray Group and Hawk Group, as well as advising private equity houses and Denmark&#8217;s largest equipment hire business, GSV.<\/p>\n<p>Taziker is owned by Freshstream, the investor which took a majority stake in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Rayhan Davis, chief investment officer at Freshstream, said: \u201cWe are very pleased to have been able to attract a CEO of Steve\u2019s calibre and track record to lead the business.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As shareholders, we are committed to growing the business strongly over the coming years, and welcome Steve as an integral part of this growth
