{"id":2101057,"date":"2022-07-22T12:49:38","date_gmt":"2022-07-22T11:49:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/northwest\/?p=2101057"},"modified":"2022-07-22T12:49:38","modified_gmt":"2022-07-22T11:49:38","slug":"second-us-acquisition-for-expanding-moneypenny","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/northwest\/news\/2101057-second-us-acquisition-for-expanding-moneypenny","title":{"rendered":"Second US acquisition for expanding Moneypenny"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Outsourced customer service business Moneypenny has further expanded its US footprint with the acquisition of a Colorado business.<\/p>\n<p>Wrexham-headquartered Moneypenny, a provider of answering services, outsourced switchboards, Live Chat and outbound calls for small and large businesses, has bought communications company Alphapage.<\/p>\n<p>The Denver-based company founded by Joe Bean in 1989, provides bi-lingual (English and Spanish) 24hr call management solutions to businesses of all sizes.<\/p>\n<p>Following the acquisition of Atlanta-based VoiceNation in 2020, Moneypenny has become fastest growing company in its sector, with over 1,200 staff in the UK and US handling 20 million calls and chats annually for more than 21,000 clients across both countries.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 Moneypenny introduced investment from ECI Partners to help drive its ambitious growth plans and this latest acquisition will take US revenue to more than\u00a027%.<\/p>\n<p>The company plans to sustain its growth plans with further acquisitions in the future as businesses continue to look at ways to improve how they interact with customers, and to maximise operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>Joanna Swash, Group CEO of Moneypenny said: \u201cThis is our second acquisition in the US following VoiceNation in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlphapage is an award-winning, successful brand and its acquisition will further complement the services we can offer our clients in the US.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur aim is to be the number one provider in the US for outsourced communications, supporting businesses of all sizes to deliver a great customer experience with every interaction, regardless of channel\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Graeme Bean, CEO of Alphapage added: \u2018We are excited about the opportunities this next phase presents for our business and more importantly, for our team and customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur companies have a great fit, not just with our technology driven products and services, but more importantly with our culture and ethos.
