{"id":2163532,"date":"2025-11-25T14:24:48","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T14:24:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/northwest\/?p=2163532"},"modified":"2025-11-25T14:24:48","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T14:24:48","slug":"recruitment-groups-internationalisation-plans-strengthened-through-acquisition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/northwest\/news\/2163532-recruitment-groups-internationalisation-plans-strengthened-through-acquisition","title":{"rendered":"Recruitment group&#8217;s internationalisation plans strengthened through acquisition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sale-based Tatton Recruitment Group has acquired the community sector from Auxo Group, comprising the well established brands Simply Education and Healthii <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People, including Healthii People\u2019s fast-growing Australian operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, represents a major step in Tatton\u2019s strategy to expand further into the public sector while strengthening its international footprint.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It follows the successful management buyout of RGF Staffing UK earlier this year and reaffirms Tatton Recruitment Group\u2019s commitment to growth through strategic investment and diversification across key markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In August this year Tatton underwent a \u00a35m management buyout. Prior to the deal it was part of Recruit Holdings, operating in Japan, Asia Pacific, Europe and North America as one of the largest HR service providers in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Matt Yeates, the firm\u2019s CFO, took the operational lead as CEO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Following the latest acquisition, he said: \u201cExpanding into the public sector is an important strategic ambition for us, but it was essential that we did so with brands that already deliver meaningful impact in their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSimply Education and Healthii People are trusted names with deep expertise, strong values and a proven ability to improve outcomes for the people and organisations they support.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He added: \u201cThe international presence through Healthii People in Australia, provides exciting opportunities as we broaden our reach. We are thrilled to welcome these incredible teams into the Tatton Recruitment Group.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As part of the acquisition, Ash Higgs, previously group chief marketing officer at Watford-based Auxo Group, will join the Tatton Recruitment Group board as chief growth officer while continuing as global managing director of Healthii People.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Simply Education will be led by its former managing director, Hollie Murtagh, who also joins Tatton Recruitment Group as part of this strategic investment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ash Higgs said: \u201cJoining Tatton Recruitment Group at this moment of transformation is a privilege. What stood out most from the outset was the cultural alignment between Tatton Recruitment Group and the Simply Education and Healthii People brands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAll businesses share a genuine commitment to impact, community and doing the right thing for clients, candidates and colleagues. My focus will be on driving sustainable, long-term growth for these two exceptional brands, while also unlocking new opportunities across Certain Advantage and Crone Corkill, Tatton Recruitment Groups current brands.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He added: \u201cI am also excited to support the internationalisation of key brands where it aligns with our strategy and values.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tatton Recruitment Group has also appointed Chris Moore as non-executive chair to support the group\u2019s next phase of planned expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He brings more than 30 years of extensive industry expertise, he previously served as chair of the Recruitment &amp; Employment Confederation, and for the past eight years has been supporting staffing firms with the design and implementation of strategy, achieving growth through operational excellence and successful M&amp;A activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Following the transaction, Auxo Group will refine its focus to concentrate exclusively on the STEM market, investing in brands operating within engineering, technology and specialist technical sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The acquisition of Simply Education and Healthii People positions Tatton Recruitment Group as a multi-brand, multi-sector recruitment organisation with a growing global presence and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional recruitment services across both public and private
