of specialist engineering consultancy, design and advisory expertise, following the acquisition of Energypeople, for an undisclosed sum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The acquisition is the second in less than a week by Ipsum, which added Somerset utility and water services engineering delivery partner, NPB Utilities, to the group last Wednesday (July 22).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chorley-based Ipsum is a provider of engineering services in the power, water, infrastructure and telecoms sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The deal for Energypeople strengthens the group\u2019s ability to support customers throughout the lifecycle of power infrastructure projects, from strategic planning and network design through to delivery, commissioning and ongoing asset optimisation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With offices in Colchester and Leeds, Energypeople brings decades of experience supporting electricity networks, utilities, developers, regulators and infrastructure owners across the UK and international markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The business provides specialist consultancy and engineering design services across transmission and distribution networks, including network planning, engineering design, technical advisory services, regulatory support and asset management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Energypeople has built a strong reputation for delivering technically complex projects, combining deep industry expertise with a collaborative approach that helps customers navigate the evolving energy landscape and the transition to a low-carbon future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
