capabilities with the acquisition of Draintech Services (Midlands), for an undisclosed sum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chorley-based Ipsum says Redditch-based <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Draintech will now operate as Ipsum Asset Management Services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The acquisition adds extensive expertise in drainage repair and maintenance, Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining for sewer rehabilitation, high-pressure jetting and CCTV drain surveys.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With an established presence in the Midlands, Draintech brings decades of experience supporting customers across the public and private sectors, including housing associations and local councils.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By joining Ipsum, the team will benefit from the group&#8217;s wider national engineering capabilities, while its experienced management team will bring valuable technical expertise to Ipsum&#8217;s established operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Andrew Cowan, Ipsum Group CEO, said: &#8220;Draintech is a strong addition to our portfolio, bringing drainage expertise and an experienced team that complements our existing capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;As investment in maintaining and improving critical water and drainage assets continues to grow, there is increasing demand for responsive, preventative and less disruptive solutions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He added: \u201cThis expertise in drainage maintenance and sewer rehabilitation strengthens our ability to support customers with these needs, while helping us continue to expand our capabilities and strengthen our presence across the UK.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hannah Williams, operations manager, said: &#8220;Becoming part of Ipsum gives us the opportunity to build on the strong foundations we have developed, while accessing a broader range of capabilities and expertise for our customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;We remain customers.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ipsum Asset Management Services will operate within Ipsum&#8217;s core divisions, further strengthening the group&#8217;s drainage, wastewater and sewer rehabilitation capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ipsum operates across water, power and control and automation, delivering engineering services that improve asset performance and enhance operational resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In July this year Ipsum acquired Energypeople, with offices in Colchester and Leeds, its second deal in less than a week after adding Somerset utility and water services engineering delivery partner, NPB Utilities, to the group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Draintech
