Manchester-based independent M&A advisory firm Rickitt Mitchell has appointed Victoria Molloy to its board of directors as marketing and operations director.<\/span><\/p>\n

The appointment recognises Victoria’s significant contribution to the firm’s growth and reflects the increasingly strategic role that marketing, operations, and technology play in supporting the delivery of outstanding client outcomes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jil McConnell<\/p><\/div>\n

Wound treatment specialist Convatec has appointed Jill McConnell as its new Chief Financial Officer (Designate), effective 1 January 2027. She will become Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Company on 1 March 2027, succeeding Fiona Ryder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fiona Ryder will remain CFO through publication of the full-year results on 23 February 2027. She will support the transition until she leaves the business at the end of February.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Jill is a seasoned public-company CFO with more than 25 years of finance leadership experience across healthcare and life sciences, especially in the United States. <\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer of Fortrea, a US-listed global contract research organisation providing clinical development solutions, with revenues of over $2.5 billion. She helped establish Fortrea as a standalone listed company following its spin-off from Labcorp in 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

Jill will report to Jonny Mason, become a member of the Convatec Executive Leadership Team (CELT) and attend Board meetings from 1 January 2027. She will lead Finance, Corporate Strategy & Development, Convatec Business Services and Investor Relations from 1 March 2027, when she becomes CFO and a member of the Board. Her appointment supports delivery of our <\/span>Accelerate<\/span> strategy and our commitment to accelerated, sustainable and profitable growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

National accountancy and advisory firm MHA has appointed three new partners and one director among 14 promotions across the North West.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lee Salter and Ben Harrison, from the firm\u2019s wealth management team, have been made partner, alongside Hasan Hashmi from MHA\u2019s tax team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lee, who joined the firm in 2001 and is based at the firm\u2019s Manchester office, specialises in trusts and corporate structures and has extensive experience advising high-net-worth individuals and corporate entities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ben has more than 16 years\u2019 experience providing independent financial planning advice and will work primarily from MHA\u2019s Preston office. He has taken a lead role on later life planning and supporting vulnerable clients across the North West, and is an accredited adviser via the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) – as well as a fellow of the Personal Financial Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hasan joined MHA in 2021 and leads the Human Capital Advisory team in the North West. He works closely with businesses to help them attract, retain and reward their people while managing employment-related tax and compliance matters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the partner promotions, Matt Schofield has been promoted to audit director in the North West, having joined MHA as a trainee in 2012. Technology-led environmental specialist Lucion Group has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Alex Meakin as chief financial officer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based in Warrington, Alex brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across private equity-backed businesses and major corporates and will take responsibility for the financial oversight of the group, helping to align Lucion\u2019s strategic and financial direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alex joins Lucion from data consultancy Dufrain Consulting, where he served as CFO and supported the company\u2019s growth following investment from Phoenix Equity Partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

James Houlihan<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Audiology group The Hearing Clinic UK is strengthening its team across the North West and Derbyshire by hiring James Houlihan as a hearing aid audiologist to work across its Congleton and Poynton clinics in Cheshire, and Glossop store in Derbyshire.<\/span><\/p>\n

James has more than 20 years\u2019 experience in the health sector and will primarily be based at its Congleton Hearing Centre, which was acquired by the business earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will support audiologist Anthony Berg, who founded the Congleton clinic, as the group responds to growing patient numbers across the three clinics following investment in its facilities and digital technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eurosonic Group has appointed Lisa Salezius who joins the Manchester headquartered company as head of European sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa will play a key role in strengthening brand recognition, and creating new opportunities with customers and partners across Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Independent Northern law firm Harrison Drury has appointed two commercial property lawyers and one construction lawyer to its Manchester office, expanding its support for businesses across the North West.<\/span><\/p>\n

Senior associate Alasdair Jones and associate Umara Naseer join the commercial property team, while senior associate Faraz Naqvi joins the construction team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faraz\u2019s appointment takes the construction team to eight members, up from two when it was established three years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

All three recruits will work with colleagues across the firm\u2019s nine offices, advising developers, investors, landlords, tenants and contractors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alasdair joins from Shoosmiths, where he was a senior associate in their real estate team. Having also worked at DWF and Addleshaw Goddard, he brings nearly a decade of experience advising clients including institutional investors, pension funds and FTSE 100 companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Umara previously worked at Bromleys Solicitors and Mills & Reeve. Her experience includes advising institutional landlords and owner-managed businesses on commercial property matters involving healthcare, retail, office, industrial and warehouse premises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faraz joins from DWF, bringing broad experience in construction disputes across sectors including social housing, hospitality\/retail, sports, and education. Faraz also has extensive knowledge surrounding cladding and fire safety remediation claims.<\/span><\/p>\n

He spent eight years in commercial dispute resolution before specialising in construction, with experience in adjudications, mediation, and Technology and Construction Court proceedings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hannah Hughes, partner and head of commercial property at Harrison Drury, said: \u201cWe want to build lasting relationships with clients as their businesses and property portfolios develop. That means investing in people who can support an acquisition or lease today while understanding what the client wants to achieve over the longer term.<\/span><\/p>\n
