Town Centre Securities has completed a refurbishment of the third floor at the Grade II* listed Carvers Warehouse on Dale Street in Manchester, creating 3,511 sq ft of office space.

The project, finished in October, provides a 2,096 sq ft fully fitted and furnished workspace alongside a 1,415 sq ft unfurnished suite.

Carvers Warehouse is Manchester’s oldest surviving canal warehouse.

Matthew Wright, associate director, estates at Town Centre Securities, said: “Carvers Warehouse is an incredibly distinctive building, and we wanted the refurbishment to celebrate its character rather than compete with it. The exposed stonework, beams and ceilings offer something completely different from a conventional office, while the new interiors provide the quality and functionality businesses expect from a modern workplace.”

The refurbishment retains original features including exposed stone walls, timber beams and ceilings, complemented by contemporary finishes.

Town Centre Securities worked with Cubicworks on the design and delivery of the refurbishment, with Penketh Group providing the furniture.

The fully fitted suite includes a fitted kitchen, dedicated meeting room with integrated AV, breakout areas, a phone booth, smart lighting and air conditioning.

Wright added: “This is the first time in several years that we’ve had a larger suite available at Carvers Warehouse. By creating a fully fitted and furnished workspace alongside a more traditional office offering, we’re giving businesses greater flexibility and the opportunity to establish themselves in one of Manchester’s most characterful buildings.”

The building is home to businesses in engineering, digital and creative sectors, alongside a café.

Both suites are available for immediate occupation.
