UK ecology consultancy, Arbtech, has appointed experienced senior landscape architect, Danielle Dean-Barlas, as landscape lead and arboricultural consultant to head up a new Landscaping Division.<\/span><\/p>\n

An accomplished senior landscape architect, Danielle has more than 10 years\u2019 multidisciplinary experience delivering strategic design, environmental compliance and planning submissions for clients across residential, commercial, industrial and public sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dual trained in both arboriculture and landscaping, Dean-Barlas\u2019s most recent role was at Trevor Bridge Associates and prior to that she held roles at Amey Consulting and Fairhursts Design.<\/span><\/p>\n

Headquartered in Chester, Arbtech says it is the UK\u2019s leading ecology consultancy and delivers ecology and biodiversity surveys to the UK\u2019s development and real estate sectors with a mission to transform environmental policy and speed up the planning process for developers whilst creating better environmental outcomes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Haydock-based Law Distribution has appointed an experienced manager to lead and develop its palletised freight operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Samuel Hayes joins as network transport manager and, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations, he has been tasked with managing and monitoring KPI targets to ensure optimum utilisation of the Law Distribution palletised fleet.<\/span><\/p>\n

He joins from Graylaw International where he managed depot operations. His previous experience includes transport and warehouse management roles with M&S Transport and Home Bargains.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manchester property group, Bruntwood, has appointed Nuno Miller as its first chief technology officer, marking a significant step forward in its ambition to make digital, data and technology a strategic differentiator for the business.<\/span><\/p>\n

In recognition of the importance of the role, Miller will report directly to CEO Chris Oglesby, and work closely with the executive team to shape business strategy and lead the next stage of Bruntwood\u2019s digital transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n

He joins from N Brown, where, as COO, he led Transformation, Technology, Data & AI and Cybersecurity. Adam Knox<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Essity, the global hygiene and health company behind major household brands including Cushelle and Plenty, has appointed Adam Knox as regional marketing director for consumer tissue. Knox will be based at Essity’s Didsbury office.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He brings more than 15 years of experience in the tissue and personal care categories, having held several senior marketing positions at Kimberly-Clark. These include acting as marketing director for Consumer across West and Central Europe, where he led a branded personal hygiene portfolio spanning 17 markets. Most recently, he served as enterprise markets sector marketing lead for childcare and Point of Market Entry at the company.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

David Adams and Anna Horne<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

A Chester estate agent is following in her father\u2019s footsteps. Anna Horne, a sales negotiator with Cavendish, has been elected to the committee of the Chester Association of Property Professionals (CAPP).<\/span><\/p>\n

Her father Alex Horne is a former chair of CAPP and one of Chester\u2019s best known property professionals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anna replaces David Adams, managing director of Cavendish, and who was chair of CAPP two years ago and this year has fulfilled the role of past chair.<\/span><\/p>\n

David stepped down at the committee\u2019s AGM on November 2, after 16 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

David said: \u201cI am delighted to be passing the baton to Anna who will bring with her fresh ideas and a desire to continue promoting the property profession in Chester.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI have enjoyed my decade and a half on the committee, in particular being given the honour of serving as its chair in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also fitting that Anna joins the committee, following in the footsteps of her father Alex who was also a long standing member and past chair.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamie Howard and Kyle Mullaney<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

CarMoney has launched its latest franchised operation covering key motor dealerships across the North West and Yorkshire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led by Jamie Howard and Kyle Mullaney, CarMoney North gives dealerships direct access to its vehicle-finance brokerage services and technology platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new operation, which went live in mid-October, brings together two established motor finance professionals who previously served as regional sales managers for CarMoney, managing top-performing regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamie previously covered the Yorkshire region for more than two years, while Kyle headed up sales operations in the North West.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both are based in Oldham and will operate across the M62.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between them, the pair have over 30 years of experience in the automotive trade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamie\u2019s 20-year career includes 12 years in sales and business finance management roles at Jaguar Land Rover. Kyle brings a decade of specialist motor finance experience, having worked for Car Finance 24\/7 before joining CarMoney in early 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their patch encompasses more than 700 dealerships, providing a strong existing client base alongside substantial room for growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

To support the venture, the pair are joined by experienced finance brokers Rebecca Kemp and Andrew Brown, who both bring five years of CarMoney experience to the new northern set-up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamie Howard said: \u201cHaving spent 20 years in the motor trade I know how vital rapid, reliable finance approvals are for keeping dealership sales moving. CarMoney has supported my career growth from day one, so taking on our own territory felt like the natural next step.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kyle Mullaney said: \u201cYorkshire and the North West are some of the UK\u2019s most densely populated regions with huge potential, and dealers want a finance partner who is accessible, transparent and dependable.
