A NORTH West training business has snapped-up a southern firm in a deal adding \u00a33.5m to its annual revenues.<\/p>\n
GP Strategies Training, based in the Bredbury near Stockport,\u00a0 has acquired Berkshire and London-based Jencal Training and its subsidiary B2B Engage.<\/p>\n
GP Strategies, a wholly owned subsidiary of NYSE-listed US parent company GP Strategies Corporation, said the strategic deal would be earnings-engancing in the current financial year.<\/p>\n
Jencal Training is an approved Apprenticeship training agency.\u00a0 B2B Engage is a national independent learning provider with offices in Greenwich and Berkshire.<\/p>\n
Scott Greenberg, chief executive of GP Strategies, said: “This acquisition further expands our capabilities, helping people and businesses to access the skills training they need to succeed. It strengthens our position as a major provider of skills training in the UK.” <\/p>\n
“The acquisition increases GP Strategies’ 2015-2016 maximum UK government funded contract values to $28m (around \u00a320m)\u00a0 per year and further strengthens GP Strategies’ position as a major provider of skills training in the UK.”<\/p>\n
