Cheshire Accountants Expand Audit Team Again
A firm of Cheshire Accountants has just announced the expansion of its audit team, after several new client wins this Spring.
Afford Bond are one of the region’s leading accountancy practices with offices in Wilmslow, Nantwich and Chester. Playing a key role in the growth of the audit team is Tom Hornbuckle, pictured, who recently joined the firm.
Tom (30) has worked on a number of high profile audits since gaining his ACA qualification in 2009. Originally from Nottingham, Tom left Lancaster University in 2006 having specialised in corporate finance and transactional services during his accountancy training. “I’m delighted to join the Afford Bond team,” said Tom, “and look forward to getting to know clients better as we move through the financial year. An auditor’s scope of work as required by the Companies Act is increasingly complicated, often working to tight deadlines so it’s vital to have the right audit team on board to support a business, ensure compliance and offer a first-class service. We don’t even mind burning the midnight oil on occasion!”
