Manchester-based brewery Strangeways Launches New Gin Infused With CBD

Gin and CBD are enjoying a spike in popularity, and whilst many are a fan of both, few will have thought to mix the pair, which is exactly what Manchester based drinks business Strangeways Spirits has done, as it launches its very first gin collection infused with CBD. 

Hand-crafted, distilled and bottled in Manchester, the company is set to wow gin-lovers with the innovative pairing. 

Labelled as the UK’s favourite spirit, and with annual sales of £2 billion a year, the popularity of gin has soared in recent years. The gin revolution continues and Strangeways has tapped into the growing CBD wellness trend, adding the product to its hand-crafted gin to create two luscious flavours designed to help you relax, unwind and feel calm whilst drinking and socialising. 

Playing to its Manchester heritage, the products were destined to be ‘only served behind bars’, however due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this was put on hold and now gin lovers across the UK can visit the website to sample a taste at home. 

The gins are infused with CBD from authorised and regulated suppliers in the UK. 

The first in the collection is the Hazy Dry Gin, which is a blend of spiced notes including cinnamon, coriander and ginger, with the balance and depth of fresh orange, lemon and grapefruit peel. Infused with CBD, this drink is delicious and harmonious in every way and is designed to help you wind down. 

For those with sweeter taste buds, the Hazy Strawberry Gin is a perfect summer tipple. It’s blend of citrus peel and English Strawberrys create a bold and wonderful sweet and spicy blend. The CBD infusion makes this the ideal drink for the summer months ahead.
