Apache offshore workers escalate strikes
Strikes by 170 Apache offshore workers are set to intensify in a dispute over jobs, pay and conditions.
A 24-hour period of industrial action is scheduled to start from 6am on 4 November for one day, with the Unite union announcing further walkouts over three days which will involve different offshore assets on alternative days.
The strikes, initially involving members based on the Forties Alpha, Forties Bravo, Forties Delta and Beryl Bravo platforms, will start at 6pm on 13 November, lasting one day.
