Martin McKay, CEO, Clyde Gateway
Martin McKay is the chief executive of Clyde Gateway, an urban regeneration company driving investment and improvement for the communities across the east end of Glasgow and South Lanarkshire. He’s been with the organisation for 17 years, working across development, regeneration and projects, before taking the top job three years ago.
So far this year, Clyde Gateway has launched a strategic partnership opportunity at UKREiiF for the Shawfield development site, started construction on the £11m XWORKS manufacturing innovation project in Dalmarnock, and helped open a new facility for a European satellite camera company.
TheBusinessDesk Scotland editor Peter Walker will talk to him about developments so far, opportunities to come, and the challenges of building infrastructure projects.
