Livingston James Group has promoted a new chief executive and appointed two new managing directors, as founder Jamie Livingston becomes chair after 16 years in charge.<\/p>\n
The employee-owned recruitment and executive search group has named long-serving Rutherford Cross managing director Mark Lewis as chief executive, while Sophie Randles and Hazel Wynn have been promoted to managing directors of Livingston James and Rutherford Cross, respectively.<\/p>\n
The reshuffle marks the first new appointments to the board in more than six years and comes as the business reports a period of strong trading.<\/p>\n
Livingston, who co-founded the business in 2010, will remain actively involved, but with a focus on strategic projects and long-term growth.<\/p>\n
“This feels like the natural next step in the evolution of the business,” he explained. “Mark, Sophie and Hazel have each played a hugely important role in our journey and I\u2019m proud to see them step into these positions and lead this next chapter for the business.”<\/p>\n
Lewis steps into the top job after 15 years with the business, having joined shortly after its formation, before launching and growing specialist finance recruitment firm Rutherford Cross.<\/p>\n
“We are entering this next chapter from a position of real strength,” he commented. “My focus will be on building on those foundations, continuing to develop our people and identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.<\/p>\n
“Beyond these appointments, we want to continue developing the next generation of leaders and ensure the business remains a place where ambitious, talented people can build long-term careers.”<\/p>\n
Livingston James plans to deepen its expertise across key sectors, including technology, energy, healthcare and the public sector, while continuing to strengthen its established specialisms in private equity, family business and the not-for-profit space.<\/p>\n
The 30-strong firm also aims to expand its fractional offering and enhance its leadership advisory capabilities, while Rutherford Cross will focus on areas such as financial planning and analysis, automation, data analytics and AI-enabled finance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
