{"id":8014,"date":"2026-10-07T08:13:23","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T07:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/scotland\/?p=8014"},"modified":"2026-10-07T08:13:23","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T07:13:23","slug":"edinburgh-voucher-platform-firm-acquired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/scotland\/news\/8014-edinburgh-voucher-platform-firm-acquired","title":{"rendered":"Edinburgh voucher platform firm acquired"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edinburgh-based digital voucher platform SK Chase has been acquired by London-headquartered SME payment solutions business ClearCourse.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction also included cloud-based reservation management software Elina PMS, taking ClearCourse\u2019s total acquisitions in 2026 to four.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2003, SK Chase has built one of the first platforms to enable luxury hotels to package and sell gift experiences. It now serves more than 500 of the world\u2019s most prestigious hotels, restaurants and resorts with e-commerce tools.<\/p>\n<p>ClearCourse is already established in the hospitality space through brands including Giftpro and its hotel management software Rezcontrol.\u00a0Both acquired businesses will now have access to ClearCourse&#8217;s embedded payment platform, ClearAccept.<\/p>\n<p>Christina Hamilton, chief executive of ClearCourse, said: \u201cBy combining SK Chase\u2019s luxury gifting expertise and Elina PMS\u2019s deep sector understanding with our existing sector expertise and embedded payments, we are building an unmatched capability for the hospitality sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Steph Wilson, co-founder and chief executive of SK Chase, commented: \u201cJoining ClearCourse will provide the scale, resources, and expertise to help us build on the strong foundations we\u2019ve established over the past 23 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom new payment technology that can help our clients generate additional revenue to enhanced specialist support for our team and customers, the group will afford us opportunities to innovate more quickly and create
