Decision on Devon landfill delayed after site recommended for refusal
A decision on whether to refuse permission for a waste landfill site in Devon has been delayed for two months.
The scheme in Kennford, near Exeter, was due to go before Devon County Council tomorrow afternoon.
Council officers had recommended refusal and their report to councillors had said "the scale, design and nature of the proposals would result in significant adverse effects on the distinctive agricultural character and scenic quality of the area".
