Forvis Mazars has reported another year of double digit growth in Bristol, with headcount increasing by more than 30 people over the last year with the firm now employing more than 100 people in the city.

The news comes as the professional services firm announced it grew 8.3% in the UK in the year to 31 August 2024, recording revenue of £362.4m. This is the firm’s fifteenth consecutive year of growth.

The team in Bristol has enjoyed another year of double-digit growth across its service lines as it continues to expand its offering to mid-market clients.

Jon Marchant was also appointed office managing partner for Bristol during FY24. He is focused on developing the firm’s business strategy, including growing the firm’s mid-market and public interest entity audit offering. The team is also focused on expanding its private client services to further support businesses and individuals in the region and giving them access to everything they need under one roof.

Marchant said: “It’s been another incredibly successful period for the Bristol team. We are pleased to have welcomed a number of new joiners and promoted many of our existing team members, demonstrating our commitment to both meaningful career development and a high level of client service, which is the bedrock on which the success of our business is built. We remain confident in developing further on this success, both in terms of building on the growth of our Bristol business in future years, and continuing to provide opportunities for our team members.”

James Gilbey, CEO of Forvis Mazars in the UK, said: “Despite a challenging market and economic headwinds over the past year, we’ve achieved sustainable growth in revenue, profitability and headcount. Thanks to our multidisciplinary model, our teams have been able to listen to clients’ needs and respond with the right expertise and support, across service lines, to meet their objectives. I’m particularly proud of the strong growth in audit, reflecting both the shifting dynamics in the top end of the audit market and our investment in competing to win in key audit sectors; building expertise and systems to deliver quality for our clients.”
