Plans for student accommodation scheme in Bath get go-ahead
A 150-year-old railway shed in Bath has been granted planning permission to become purpose-built student accommodation with 103 bed spaces.
Bath and North East Somerset Council's planning committee approved the conversion of Grosvenor House on Lower Bristol Road, subject to completion of a Section 106 agreement.
The building, originally constructed in the 1870s as a shed for the Great Western Railway company, has been minimally used for many years despite its accessible location.
