International asset management experts sells to RSK

An asset management consultancy specialising in industrial and infrastructure has been sold in a deal completed by South West-based corporate finance specialists Watersheds.

Newbury-based The Woodhouse Partnership (TWPL), founded in 1994 by a group of senior industrial managers including current MD John Woodhouse, has been acquired by the RSK Group.

RSK Group has around 200 environmental, engineering and technical services businesses within the group.

Watersheds partners Tim Harrington and John Stopher worked on the deal.

Harrington said: “This sale gives TWPL access to essential additional resources at RSK to capitalise on the rapid worldwide increase in demand for the business services it provides.

Woodhouse said: “For a company like ours, whose work tends to come from reputation and word-of-mouth recommendations between major multinational clients, it’s essential that we can concentrate on our clients’ needs. So having Watersheds do all the heavy lifting for us was incredibly helpful.”

The lawyers for TWPL were Katharine Mortimer and Freya Still of RWK Goodman.
