Insurance broker squares away office move

Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers is the latest company to move into One The Square in Bristol, after agreeing a 10-year lease.

Bristol’s largest independent insurance broker has taken 4,085 sq ft on the first floor, at £32.50 per sq ft.

The building has undergone a substantial refurbishment and capital investment programme under the ownership of landlord, The Canal & River Trust.

James Woollam, managing director of Hayes Parsons, said: “After significant growth, Hayes Parsons was in need of a new home, and in One The Square we believe we have found the perfect setting for our team, in close proximity to the station which was important for our commitment to the environment and in an area which has social value at its core.”

Lambert Smith Hampton acted jointly with CBRE on behalf of the landlord and Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers were represented by Morton Property Consultants.

Roxine Foster, director of office advisory at LSH, added: “The work that we have done to improve the asset is proving successful in attracting new tenants, and Hayes Parsons is the latest to join a strong mix of tenants within the building.”

This most recent letting at One The Square leaves only one remaining prime suite of 8,208 sq ft available to let on the first floor.
