Martin Brown, RSM

RSM UK has appointed Martin Brown as share schemes director in the firm’s employer solutions team.

Brown, who is based in Bristol, is a specialist in advising firms on the design and implementation of employee share plans, workplace incentives and employee ownership trusts.

He will be responsible for the share schemes offering locally, regionally and nationally, and will focus on the continued growth of the firm’s expertise and capabilities within employer solutions.

Dan Curtis, MSP Capital

Property finance lender MSP Capital has welcomed senior solicitor Dan Curtis as its new Head of In-house Legal.

He brings more than 20 years’ property market experience to the Poole-based company, which provides principal development and bridging loans for sums up to £20m.

As well as overseeing MSP Capital’s legal affairs and providing advice and guidance to colleagues, Dan will manage the firm’s five-strong in-house legal team.

PKF Francis Clark has strengthened its corporate tax team with a trio of recent appointments at the firm’s Bristol office.

Senior manager Rhiannon Baynham has joined from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), Robert Waterhouse is a manager specialising in research and development (R&D) tax credits and corporate tax, and Joe Martin has joined as an assistant manager from KPMG.

John Endacott, head of tax at PKF Francis Clark, said: “We are seeing increasing demand from larger corporate clients for complex tax advisory work. The arrival of Rhiannon, Robert and Joe bolsters the existing skills and experience of our growing corporate tax team in Bristol.
