Training and support systems firm appoints new director

A firm which offers training and systems support to defence and aerospace firms has appointed a new director.
Pennant International, which is based in Gloucestershire, is holding its annual general meeting later today,
The board has announced the appointment of Jon Kempster as an independent non-executive director. He will chair the audit and risk committee.
Jon has more than 20 years’ experience as a public company director. He is currently a non-executive director of AIM quoted Norman Broadbent and Synectics.
He is also a director of Delta Pension Nominees Limited. Jon qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1990 and has held several board positions in both an executive and non-executive capacity, including at FireAngel Safety Technology Group, Redcentric, Frasers Group and DX (Group) Limited.
