Loungers’ latest opening is start of new chapter

Loungers is gearing up to open Livro Lounge in Nailsea next week, creating 30 jobs.

The site will become the 230th venue operated by the West Country-based café and bar group.

The Loungers build and design team has transformed the former Nailsea Library building in Somerset Square.

With community and neighbourhood at its heart, Livro Lounge will welcome locals looking for a space for regular catch ups, meetings and events – everything from business networking, book or knitting clubs to parent and baby meets and life drawing classes.

“We’re so looking forward to opening the doors of Livro Lounge,” said Gemma Irwin, head of community at The Lounges.

“We’re passionate about integrating genuinely into the communities we serve so we’re looking forward to meeting everyone and to playing our part at the heart of Nailsea’s food and drink scene.”
