Bakery’s growth on the rise with latest store launch
Warrens Bakery, the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, has opened a store at Yelverton.
The new store is one of a growing number of stores they’ve opened in the Devon area.
Craig Wood, from Warrens Bakery, said: “We’re delighted to have officially opened our most recent bakery in Yelverton, which has seen the creation of 10 new jobs for local people.
“The expansion celebrates another step in Warrens Bakery’s journey as we continue to share our traditional and innovative baked goods and beverages with new customers. Our existing stores across the country are thriving and we anticipate similar success in Yelverton.”
Established in 1860, Warrens Bakery said that following the success of the recent openings at Bath Spa and Basingstoke train stations, the Yelverton store signals the continuation of plans for growth for the business.
