Next generation engineering firm adds director

Future Advanced Manufacture, a Cheltenham-based business specialising in the development of complex next-generation engineering, has appointed Samuel Wood to the role of sales and marketing director.

Originally from Gloucestershire, Wood brings more than 15 years experience to the role. His career to date has seen him working in business development, general manager and director roles for a range of organisations with up to £1bn turnover, most recently at Winbro Group Technologies.

With commercial experience spanning aerospace, defence, medical and oil & gas industries, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role at Future Advanced Manufacture to work across sectors with clients in safety-critical technologies.

He said: “Having a dedicated R&D facility is unique for a sub-contract machining company as well as the skill set of the people at Future, tackling the most challenging of technical machining requirements sets the business apart in the market.”
